Lately, I've been consumed in homework. I'm trying to finish this last semester, every one of my classes is a 300 or 400 level class, and every second of my free time is homework time. I also don't have the car during the day, since we are down to one and I'm so tired of television. It stinks.
So I've decided to change that. I've decided to wake up an hour earlier every morning, which will give me at least 5 extra hours of homework time, so then I can dedicate Friday's for some me time.
Does anyone have any cheap/easy craft ideas? I love Make It and Love It so I've pretty much done about all of those. But we don't have a lot of money to spend on hobbies so I need some things to fill my time. I'm thinking to start on our bedroom - we are in desperate need of decorations in there! Here are some things I was thinking of:
1) Duvet Cover for our bedspread
2) Some type of wall hangings
3) 4th of July decorations (I don't have any)
4) Anything for Teeny Bug's clothes or room
5) New baby things (when we find out the gender)
6) Anything made out of felt
IDEAS PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!?

4th of July decorations?? Is there such a thing? haha. I don't have any either.
I'm not that crafty unless its scrapbooking, but I have made a lot of stuff for Jade's room. I was looking online at wall hanging type stuff and found this http://www.funtocollect.com/alphabetsoupwallhanging.html. Its not a tutorial but I think something like it would be really easy to make out of felt. Then you'd be killing two birds with one stone.
Start making a baby book. A couple of girls in our ward make their own. Go through Maggie's baby book and make something simaliar off of your computer. Hey, I like this idea so much I think I will do it too. That's all the idea's I've got for now!
Check out the webiste www.younghouselove.com. They redid their entire house on a budget and created some pretty cute things for their nursery. They tell you where they like to shop and where to get the best deals. Check it out, it might inspire you! Good luck with the homework.
I wish I had great ideas for you, but I'm NOT crafty. But, my sister in-law is. She goes to craft fairs and steels ideas then goes home and makes them herself. She gave me this supper cute 4th of July block it you wanna come check it out.
Plus, you could always start quilting...? Just an idea. But if you do, you have to teach me :)
