Oh, Just Making Some Things

I am really trying to make a lot of things lately and saving our family money, that's one of the things I can do since I don't work, and it's one of my resolutions.

One thing, I decided to make a dress for Teeny Bug on Saturday night for church on Sunday...

She wasn't in the greatest mood when I took it ;)
Everything is made with ribbon I already had and some old bed sheets. I don't use a top sheet, never have, so it gives me a good amount of material.

Then I decided that I am going to make baby food. I bought some really small containers and only filled them up half way because I don't think she'll eat that much at first. I made a week's worth of each food: avocados, green beans, sweet peas, carrots, and bananas. It cost me around $20 to make all of this (including the containers), besides, I don't have to buy the containers again, and I think it's a lot better for Teeny Bug since it's all fresh. Luckily, we have a freezer in the basement that we can store these in.

You're so crafty! It makes me want to make things. But I'm not good at sewing and I don't have a sewing machine :) What a cute dress though.

That's a cute dress! Good job! I don't like making clothes but I do want to make my own food for the next baby. Saves money AND it's healthier!
