Poor DBop....

DBop's mouth after they took out the tonsils...... they're the white things in the back.....

Well, this week has definitely been an interesting one....

DBop had a tonsill - ectomy on Tuesday. Just a routine procedure right? Well, for most people...

He was asked to be there at 6:30 am and he went in for surgery and we were out of there by around 9:30. He was doing great, he was actually a lot more talkative than normal, which was so funny to see.

While we were at home, about a half hour later he started spitting up a lot of blood. It was really bad, I've never seen anything like that before in my life. So we called the doctor and he wanted us to go back in to see him.

When we went back, the doctor told us that he has never, in 3000 surgeries had anyone come back the same day due to bleeding. He said that a blood vessel hemorrhaged and he was going to have to go back in to do another surgery.

So we did the whole procedure all over again and didn't get home until about 4:30 that afternoon.

We have some prescriptions for him and he's been doing okay until yesterday, which happened to be his birthday. I feel so bad for him. He is in so much pain and he has been running a high fever.

We got a hold of the doctor again today because DBop was running a 104.6 temperature and we got some different medication because it might be an allergic reaction to some of it. We might have to go see the doctor tonight, but we'll just have to see how it goes. Right now it's gone down a point or two so I'll keep people posted!

First off, I love your bling on the sides...haha
Secondly-POOR DAVID! I can't even imagine! I hope that he gets that all squared away soon! And on his bday too...sad sad...

And seriously-Prop 8? Crazy huh? I don't even think that we'll understand how big the impact really has the potential to be...I'm glad that your teachers were talking about it-I had heard rumors about something like this, but honestly, I'm so happy they're putting that whole thing together...
