When we moved back to DBop's parents house, I set Teeny Bug's cute little pink potty in the bathroom so she could get used to seeing it. I thought I would give her a few weeks to get used to a new routine and get over her cold, but she had other plans.
Last week, while getting her and Monkey ready for their bath, she decided to sit down on it. I said, "Oh, are you going to try to go pee pee?" and nothing. So I left the room, and when I came back, she looked up at me and said, "Like that?" She had gone to the bathroom! I threw some underwear on her and started potty training. By the next day, she was telling me when she had to go and was potty trained from there. I was so nervous to potty train too, but it has been one of the funnest things I've done with her. It's so awesome to see how excited she gets when she gets a little bit more independent.
She is seriously so cute and growing up too fast, but I sure am glad that I only have to buy diapers for Monkey now. And I'd say that 27 months is a perfect time for her to be out of diapers. Whew!
